Very elegant pair of Swedish Grace side chairs by Carl Malmsten, made from stained birch. Nicely executed with curved backs and legs that form a refined silhouette. Contrasting cross-shaped backrests in blackened birch. Reupholstered in a luxurious bouclé wool fabric.
The model was exhibited at Riksvarumässan in Gothenburg in 1922-23, and also at the Triennale in Milan in 1925.
