Very elegant pair of Swedish Grace lounge chairs by Carl Malmsten, made from stained birch. Nicely executed with curved armrests and legs that creates a striking silhouette, contrasting cross-shaped backs in blackened birch. Re-upholstered in a luxurious wool fabric.
The model was exhibited at Riksvarumässan in Gothenburg in 1922-23, and also at the Triennale in Milan in 1925.
