Amazing and iconic “Small Paimio” or model 31 by Alvar Aalto. Manufactured by Artek in Hedemora, Sweden between 1946-1956. Seat is made from birch bentwood and frame from laminated birch. Great preserved condition with the perfect honey-colored patina. A sculptural piece of furniture art!
Designed in 1931/1932, originally for the Paimio Sanatorium in Finland.
