Faience “Karneval” vase by Stig Lindberg, in a strict block shape. Beautiful, playful motif of three people in a ship on one side, and a winged man and a fish on the other. The rim and corners are unglazed, giving an organic touch to the smooth design.
The “Karneval” series was produced from 1958 to 1962 and included 32 different vases and platters, all with whimsical motifs in Stig Lindberg’s characteristic style.
