Set of two surrealistic animal stoneware sculptures by Boris Stojkov for Gustavsberg, model number 2 and 4 in the series “BORIS”. Partially made in unglazed matte off-white color with a striated decor in iron-brown tone. Organically rounded forms, pierced silhouettes and rhythmic relief decorations which are characteristic of Stojkov’s highly individual visual language, where elements of fantasy creatures and stylized animals merge into expressive modernist sculpture.
